How it works
The integration is read-only: Mycroft pulls workforce data from Deel to power people sync and access reviews. It does not create, update, or delete anything in Deel — no provisioning, no offboarding actions, and no role changes are written back.

Mycroft can be used with the following Deel products:

Feature sync
Mycroft pulls the following from Deel each time it syncs.
People sync (employees & contractors)
- Name
- Work email
- Employment type (employee or contractor)
- Employment status
- Start and other key dates
- Job title
- Department
- Manager
People without an email address are skipped.
Access reviews (active users)
- Name
- Role / access type — Admin, Manager, or Employee

Mycroft's integration with Deel keeps your personnel and access data continuously aligned with your source of truth. By pulling employment status, role, and key dates from Deel, Mycroft helps you streamline evidence collection for audits, run access reviews against live data, and reduce the risk that off-boarded people retain access — all mapped back to the compliance frameworks you're maintaining.
The connection syncs on a polling basis when Mycroft runs a sync. All access is read-only and limited to workforce and user data; Mycroft does not manage contracts, payroll, or organizational structure inside Deel.
How it works
Mycroft connects to Deel through Deel's API using OAuth 2.0 — there are no tokens to copy or paste.
- In Mycroft, go to Integrations.
- Search for Deel and select Connect.
- You'll be redirected to Deel to authorize the connection.
- Review the requested read-only scopes (
Users:read,people:read,organizations:read) and approve. - You're returned to Mycroft and the integration begins syncing.
One Deel connection is maintained per organization; reconnecting at any time refreshes the same connection. To disconnect, remove the integration in Mycroft — this deletes Mycroft's stored credentials.
